Warrnambool Cheese & Butter's Sungold Xtra Iced Chocolate was selected the best flavoured milk at the recent 2013 Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) Awards.

Sungold Xtra Iced Chocolate is a premium product with a rich, indulgent chocolate flavour.

"We always strive to make high quality products and it's great to see that our research is delivering industry favourites," said WCB's General Manager Retail Dairy, Bill Slater.

Warrnambool Cheese & Butter also had success with two other Sungold flavours and a variety of cheddar cheese in specific categories.

Sungold FM Honeycomb was the highest scoring milk for a flavour other than chocolate or coffee. It is the most popular non-traditional flavour in the Sungold FM range.

The DIAA Awards has been an annual event for more than two decades.  The 2013 series had forty judges and stewards assess more than 1000 entries from around the country.

This year Warrnambool Cheese & Butter reaches its 125th year in dairy processing. The company has been in the market milk business since 1956.
